Started as a drummist for All for Jesus Church and then a pastor for Rivers of Life, a Ministry based in Blantyre a couple of years ago, Peace Suwedi might be considered as one of the charismatic and high ranking men of God as far as Pentecostals are concerned in this country, after he was ordained as a bishop for the newly-launched Great Fire of God church last Sunday, August 29th, 2010 at the age of 22.

Speaking in an Interview after the occasion which took place at the church’s headquarters in Blantyre, Suwedi said in accordance to his age, he was afraid of the position but was later on motivated spiritually after reading the book of Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 1 where Jeremiah himself   was sent as a prophet of God at a very tender age.

He said being the founder hence claiming the probable high position at a youthful stage,  he would make sure the newly born Ministry will be well patronized in all departments ;youth, music and women among others in as much as serving God is concerned

“At first I was afraid of the position but upon reading Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 1 where Jeremiah himself was sent by God whilst young, I asked  myself who am I not to do job and now here I am”, the soft spoken  Suwedi explained.
